What is this?
a live crypto trading competition where you trade simulated tokens on the blockchain. hosted by NU Blockchain, we're here to help you explore blockchain tech through hands-on, interactive trading. no experience or real money required. it will also be a lot of fun!
How does registration work?
after submitting your email, you'll receive instructions to set up your wallet and complete registration before the event. registration closes at 6 PM on April 21st ;)
Is this real money?
no. you will be using a real crypto wallet on a real ethereum blockchain, but all trading is done with Mock USD.

no worries! we'll teach you everything during the event.
How is this different than trading stocks?
crypto trading is fast-paced, 24/7, and permissionless. you're trading directly on-chain using tools like MetaMask, Uniswap, and DEXScreener. Uniswap utilizes an automated market maker instead of order books, which means prices adjust based on liquidity pools and the size of your trades. it's also more volatile and driven by entirely different forces - social hype, token design, and even memes - making the strategy (and the chaos) very different.
Is this actually what it's like to trade crypto?
each round simulates a real scenario that mimics live crypto markets: new tokens, dynamic price action, and competing traders. you will be using the same tools as real crypto traders, so this competition will give you the hands-on experience and instinct required to trade actual crypto tokens.
How exactly does it work?
each round, a new token is deployed on Uniswap and you'll get some Mock USD to trade with. you'll be trading against other participants (PvP) as well as an AI market maker (PvE). take a peek at our staging ui for a preview.
Is there a prize for winning?
top scorers will be proudly displayed on our live leaderboard. at the end, winners can choose from a collection of crypto merch and electronics. we're working with industry sponsors to bring monetary prizes to next year's competition, stay tuned!
